These gorgeous reclaimed barn boards are rough-cut, have "true" 1x6 dimensions and feature authentic, turn-of-the-century sawmills' circular-saw marks on two or more faces.
They have been salvaged during our local deconstruction of a 1905 PNW heritage barn, serving originally as the skip-sheathing, or purlins, of the well-preserved roof structure of this massive barn. *Important note: we only have stock of boards <6' in length. They are perfect for cladding walls or other surfaces, countertops, tabletops, floating shelves, mirror and photo frames, and much more!* These boards have such incredible texture, character, and strength, they would be fantastic in any application you can dream! We have many shorter cuts as well that clean up beautifully with a quick sand into incredible shelving, appearance boards, sturdy custom barn doors, and more!
We, personally, carefully salvage, hand-inspect, surface de-nail, gently clean each board, cutting ends square. We finish our process with a gentle pressure washing that truly reveals all the colors and beauty of this beautiful, old-growth PNW Douglas fir!
