These gorgeous, dense grain, old-growth Douglas fir 2x6s are reclaimed from the hand deconstruction of an early 1900s barn in Ferndale. They are milled on 4 sides, nominal measurements, and have a beautifully weathered patina and stunning, clear vertical grain! We have them in lengths up to 13'+, and can definitely accommodate large orders!
We de-nail, cut ends clean and square, and inspect every board ourselves for cracks and defects, and cut them out. The product we offer is local, lovingly deconstructed & cleaned barn wood of the highest quality. Rings are so dense they are almost impossible to count. Nearly all of the boards are very straight, with no warping. Minimal nail holes as well, but character for days!!
