These reclaimed old-growth Barn boards have a tongue and groove profile with a 2 1/4" face, and are 3/4" thick. Some are stamped on the back "UTILITY LINING". Their coloring is close to cedar, although we believe it is old-growth Douglas fir.
Salvaged from a special stage section of the south wall in the Avon gymnasium barn, appearance boards like this are difficult to come by! Approximately 100 square feet available, in lengths of 1' to about 6'. They are very well preserved, and nearly all of the boards were reclaimed without damage to the profile. Their dense growth rings and clear, vertical grain make them strong and versatile.
Perfect as a backsplash, small accent wall, or even a tabletop! Lots of early 20th century character, milled near Mount Vernon.
Price is $4.50/ square foot. Prefer to sell as a lot, but we'll consider smaller orders.
